We go for the short restart, we pat it back but get penalised for stopping a Leigh man from challenging for it.

We even get our first six-again of the game, but we cough up the ball trying to catch it on the move.

Chaotic play as Mbye kicks a scuffed one from the play of the ball, it swirls out right and Robertson has to stop Badrock on the wing.

Leopards managing to get away several offloads on their attack, pushing us back onto our own try line.

Hodgson goes very close off a break in our half, but Tristan Sailor cuts him down and we scramble well to stop the hosts again.

After the challenge, play is pulled back and play on given, tackle four.

Saints are judged to have knocked on, but we use our Captain’s Challenge to contest the call.

The challenge is successful.

Strong set after points, a kick is caught by Charnley under their sticks.

15m out Mbye kicks an awkward kick which Hodgson doesn’t catch. A GLDO is given.

Leopards held in their own half, Feldt returns the ball and gets us just into the hosts’ half.

Saints go high after getting up to the Leopards’ 40m line. Looked like a possible host hand knocked it forward, but we play on, last, and the kick is picked up by a Leigh man.

Leigh manage to keep Saints out in the dying seconds of the half, Sironen looked to get a quick play of the ball away but was stopped from doing so

Ipape with a what looked a high one on Daryl Clark. The Saints are not happy with that one, and everyone charges in.

Lees gives away a late hit, Leigh get a penalty by the 30m line and call for the kicking tee.

O’Brien misses the penalty attempt.

Sailor on the last, 15m out tries a small kick to the right corner but it’s too strong.

Walmsley has failed his HIA.

Leigh push Saints back to our own line, a kick goes up and Sailor gets it in-goal for a tap 20m restart.

Saints kick the ball high into the middle of the field, it ricochets around and falls to Sironen, who grabs the loose ball and grounds it. No try signalled by the ref, and confirmed by the Video Ref.

Delaney breaks through the middle, he tries to power over the fullback but is stopped. We go out right, and Feldt claims a high tackle, he’s shown a green card.

Brilliant take from the back by Sailor dealing with an O’Brien kick.

Bell adds some fending to our attack, taking us into the Leigh 20m.

On the last we pull the ball left, Percival tries to power through but no good.

Saints knock on by our 30m line, Leigh play on but then knock on themselves. Sailor and Bell try link up, but the referee pulls it back.

Mbye’s kick is caught by someone in a crowd of players, and the ball goes loose.

Leigh then get a back-to-back penalties, first for lying on in the ruck, and then dissent.

Lam kicks a high one, Sailor is judged to have knocked it on so Leigh get a new set 25m out, followed by a six-again.

Leopards off a crash ball claim a try. VR called for – no try signalled.

Mbye this time has to kick from just in his own half, he manages to split both Charnley and Hodgson with it.

Brilliant tackle from Mark Percival on his opposite man.

Leopards in our 30m kick high, we deal with it well.

Story of our attack so far, we do well taking the hosts back into their own half, finishing by the 30m line.

Mbye kicks high, all allow it to bounce and it goes out by the dead ball line.

O’Brien attempts a 40/20m and it goes close but just short of the 20m line. Saints ball.

Cross stops a Leopards threat on the wing, he has to go for an intercept and the hosts will get a new set.

Saints off the penalty have Leigh back on their own line. Percival tries to hit Cross with a pass, not a good one though, easing some pressure.

On the last, a high kick is put up by Mbye in the middle, and a turnover.

Kick pressure by Sironen on Lam, and the Leigh half was not happy about that one.

Leopards give away a penalty, offside.

Similar place to finish our attack again, but this time Mbye’s kick swirls into the in-goal and Hodgson can get a tap 20m restart.

Good defensive work by the men in navy and red, keeping Leopards in their own 40m.

Steady work from our men, moving Leigh back again into their half. Mbye’s kick fielded well by Hodgson, and our chase is strong.

Leigh offer the first major threat, but Lachlan Lam on the last is well stopped by Harry Robertson, 10m off our line.

Saints march into the Leigh 30m, and Percival leads the chase of a high kick to the corner, strong tackle.

However, Saints get pinged for being offside on the next tackle.

Calm start by Saints, O’Brien from just in front of his own 30m line punts down the field, Sailor collects it well.
