😇 A strong Saints win on our return to Odsal!

There’s a Bulls man down after trying to tackle DSF, it looks like a case of friendly fire though.

We hope he is okay.

Trading sets and errors at present.

Walmsley with a huge break upfield. Humphreys fires the ball to Hastings, an inside ball to Macdonald is forward, though.

Doro busts a little through, but Walmsley shuts him down.

Bulls kick high and Douglas watching it catches it very well.

Humphreys with an immediate impact, leaping on a loose ball.

Welsby evades a few Bulls men and tries an offload for Dagnall, but no good.

Shorrocks goes looking for an offload, but Bulls recover the ball.

A strong tackle is made, Klemmer gets an elbow to the face as the Bulls man goes down. Klemmer not happy with it, so everyone charges in.

Bulls pinned in their own 30, Dagnall calmly catches a bouncing ball and returns strongly.

Saints have Bulls back by their own line again, Aekins rises highest to a kick though, and the hosts need to come off their own line.

Bradford give away another penalty, a high shot.

Sailor and Dagnall look to chase a Tristan chip, but it looked like both might have been escorted.

Aekins tries claiming a catch in-goal for a tap 20m restart, but the referee asks for the VR to assist.

Bulls try an offload by our 20m line after a high kick, but it’s knocked on.

Aekins calmly catches a high Hastings bomb.

Back-to-back penalties against the Bulls, firstly a bad tip tackle from Russell and then steal the ball.

Bradford use their Captain’s Challenge, it is unsuccessful.

Great jump and catch from Dagnall to claim a high ball.

Bulls got a tap 20m restart, Wright makes an important tackle to stop their momentum.

Macdonald on a crash ball loses the ball next to the line.

A couple tackles later we get a penalty for a slow ruck.

It’s a poor start, the ball out on the full off kick-off.

40 seconds left, Bulls get another relieving penalty, this one is for Saints being judged to be too slow in the ruck.

On the last, again by the hosts’ 30m line, Hastings and Sailor link up, Tristan’s kick is a tricky one but just runs dead.

Strong D again by the Saints, Bulls not out of their own half.

Good set after the try by our men, we have the Bulls pushed back by their own 30, kick and chase very well.

Good defence by the Saints, keeping Bulls by the halfway line once more.

We then force a Bulls knock on, on tackle two.

Bradford look to keep us back, but we creep into their half to end a set and kick high to chase.

Walmsley is put on report for the tackle. Bulls get a relieving penalty.

Welbsy drops back to deal with an awkward kick well, but Bulls’ chase is strong.

Hastings on the last goes for a little chip and chase himself, but Bulls just get to it before him.

Brilliant defence by the Saints, Sironen especially, pinning the hosts in their own 40m before kicking to Welsby.

The Saints are 20m away, but the referee pauses for a head injury as Armitage comes off.

We then kick high, but Bulls claim it.

Douglas wisely leaves a kick to run dead and we get a tap 20m restart.

St.Helens get into the Bradford half to end an attack. Another Hastings high one, but this time Aekins claims it despite pressure from Sailor.

Another Captain’s Challenge, Sironen this time is judged to have played the ball incorrectly. Bradford were slow coming out of the ruck.

Klemmer is judged to have knocked on, he quickly shouts to Hastings to challenge the call for a ball strip.
