Match Preview: Saints vs Salford

Saints will kick off the 2021 Betfred Super League season against Salford Red Devils on Friday at Emerald Headingley with kick off at 6pm and you can read all the pre-match news in our match preview story.


Saints arrive at Emerald Headingley Stadium to open the Betfred Super League season against Salford Red Devils and will look to get off to the perfect start in our title defence.

Despite playing in Leeds, Saints are the ‘home’ team meaning will be wearing our traditional white shirt with red vee. As a huge Thank You to our donating 2020 Members, as promised, your Saints will be warming up in a special shirt which has the names printed of all those who donated. Read more.


Following the Government guidelines the game will again be played behind closed doors. However we will have a selection of our TOTALLY WICKED FANS on Sky Sports’ Fan Zone – cheering the boys on from home. Keep an eye out for them!


The game is live on Sky Sports Arena with kick off at 6:00pm. 2021 members can also watch on the RFL’s Our League app via a unique streaming code.
