LDRL
The Learning Disability Rugby League Team aims provide all those in our Community with learning disabilities the chance to be part of a Rugby League side.
The team provides the players with new opportunities, friendships and a chance to have fun, whilst playing the sport they love!
Community Integrated Care Sessions
Community Integrated Care sessions are fun welcoming sessions designed for those under the care of CIC.
Saints Community Development Foundation kicked off an accessible sports programme for people supported by Community Integrated Care living in St Helens – many of whom are huge Saints fans.
At each session, participants take part in relay activities, team games and physical exercises, promoting their health and well being. It is also a fantastic opportunity for the participants and their carers to socialise and make new friends within the sessions.
Coaching in Special Needs Schools
SCDF can provide coaching in special needs schools to develop opportunities and to maximise the positive impact that high quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity can have on young people.
As a charitable foundation we inspire and motivate young people in PE and Sport through high quality sessions and coaching that encourages children and young adults to be active and healthy. Our qualified coaches develop teachers and support staff to increase their confidence, skills and knowledge to deliver an outstanding PE and sports experience for young people.
