🤠Our Cowboy Saint
Joining the Saints ahead of the 2025 season, Kyle Feldt signed on a two-year deal, having previously been a one-club man with NRL side North Queensland Cowboys. For the six-foot-three tall winger, he relished the idea of coming to the UK to join St.Helens and play in Super League!
Making his debut in 2013, Feldt over the next decade would prove himself to be the Cowboys’ greatest-ever try scorer, becoming the Club’s record try scorer during his final season in 2024. In his final nine seasons with North Queensland, he achieved double digits for his scoring efforts, with a career-best year in 2024 getting 25 tries. Kyle finished his time in Australia with 217 appearances for the Cowboys, scoring 151 tries, kicking 44 goals, for a total points record of 692.
Feldt’s most famous moment came in the 2015 NRL Grand Final as the man who scored the vital try for North Queensland after the full-time siren had gone to level the game against Brisbane Broncos. The Cowboys went on to win that match and secure their first NRL Premiership, in one of the all-time great finals.
Representative honours have also come for Feldt, with selection in 2019 for both the successful Australia 9s team and the Prime Minister’s XIII side. Furthermore, in 2021 he made his State of Origin debut for Queensland.
