It's a double header of Derby Day action on Friday night at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Our Women's side begins the action with the First Team to follow, both are taking on our oldest foes - the Wigan Warriors.
We are hosting a Derby Day Double Header with both our Women’s and First Team taking on our oldest foes, the Wigan Warriors, and The Final Charge continues to reach boiling point.
The Club advises supporters allow extra time for both the journey and entrance into the Totally Wicked Stadium on Friday night.
With an exciting Double Header, a near sell out including a big away fan following, plus other events happening in the local area, please give yourself more time to enjoy your match night.

The Ticket Office at the stadium on game day will be open, however any Match Ticket collections need to be made from the Ticket Collection point located next to the Ticket Office.
We strongly advise our fans who have ordered tickets for collection, to collect them well in advance of the game.
Please note on game day any fan who has lost their ticket or Membership, or attends with the wrong ticket or Membership, WILL NOT be permitted entry into the stadium. The Ticket Office cannot re-print tickets or Memberships on gameday.
SQUAD NEWS
Paul Wellens has two changes to the squad he last named, with Morgan Knowles and George Delaney unavailable.
Kyle Feldt is back in contention, and young loose forward Cole Marsh is included in the Saints’ 21-man squad for the very first time.

Wigan have made three changes to their squad that faced Catalans Dragons last weekend. Abbas Miski, Ethan Havard and Luke Thompson come into their 21-man squad, with Patrick Mago, Harvey Makin and Kian McDermott dropping out.

🎸 LIVE MUSIC
Sensational local indie band The Mannequins will be performing live in the heart of the West Stand on the Saints’ performance platform!
Expect some classic singalong indie anthems to get you pumped before the Men’s game, with the band due to start their set approximately 7:20pm.
The Red V Bar will also have our resident DJ – Earl Raff – spinning the tunes to get you into your game day mood from 5pm.
LIVERPOOL JOHN LENNON AIRPORT: CROSSBAR CHALLENGE
There is a twist to the Liverpool John Lennon Airport: Crossbar Challenge this week. The chosen participant this week will have ten shots at hitting the crossbar, with every attempt being for a £100 voucher to spend with Jet 2 Holidays.
With the eyes of all the Saints faithful in the West Stand watching, the contesting Member will get ten attempts to hit the crossbar from the 20m line.

🏎️ WHITLEY WANTS BIG END OF SEASON
With a Play-Offs spot secured, the Red V are battling it out with the rest of the qualified sides in the top six for as high a position as possible before the knockout stages. Whitley believes the Saints have it in them to have a big end to the season, with three tough games still to be played in the regular season.

THE RECORD AGAINST WIGAN WARRIORS
The two sides have faced each other 95 times in the Betfred Super League era. Saints have won 48, Wigan winning 43 with four draws between the two rivals.
Saints’ biggest winning margin in the league was a 0-42 victory in 2020. Whilst the Warriors’ biggest victory over the Red V was a 65-12 win in 1997 at Salford.

COACH PREVIEW
Saints Head Coach Paul Wellens previewed Derby Day with the Warriors with the media on Tuesday.
Wellens looked at the strength of the side we’re going to face, missing a few key names with Morgan Knowles ruled out after failing a HIA at Hull KR last week and more.
POLICE DOGS PATROLS
The Club takes preventative actions for home fixtures, with additional stewarding and police dog patrols around the stadium.
Supporters may encounter these dog patrols when approaching the stadium, it is advised that whilst you can say hello to them but please remember they are working and to allow them to do their job.

Konrad Hurrell and Morgan Knowles will be discussing the match ahead of kick-off in the Red V Bar! Make sure you’re there to get the inside scoop, and enjoy a drink before the big game.
The Red V Bar will be open ahead of the match against the Black & Whites, with a full range of drinks to enjoy; Stowford Press Original and Mixed Berry, Carling, RedV Smooth, Guinness and Madri all on draught!
PARKING
St Helens Borough Council have provided an update to their usual parking offering for home games.
All Council run-car parks will be free to use from 6pm on match night.

See both matches live on Sky Sports on Friday night, with the Women’s game will shown on Sky Sports +, with coverage starting at 5pm. Our First Team game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports + from 7:30pm, ahead of 8pm.
IN THE HOME KIT
Both Saints sides will be wearing the 2025 Home Kit on Friday night!
Taking centre stage, the iconic Saints crest has been transformed into a futuristic holographic badge and is placed in the centre of the shirt for the first time in 16 years.
The shirt has elasticated sleeve cuffs that feature a woven oval SH pattern taken from one of the core elements of the Club crest, with the SH also watermarked into the Red V and on the side panels of the shorts.

BAG CHECK
Personal bags of A5 size or smaller only will be permitted in the Totally Wicked Stadium, and our stewarding staff will check your bags and conduct bag checks upon entry.
Whilst this is a change to what supporters have been used to in the past, the Club’s decision to implement these changes to entering the ground with a bag are to ensure everyone’s security and safety when attending fixtures at the home of the Saints.
With the proposed implementation of The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Bill legislation, there may be further updates to fans’ gameday experiences in the future, with the priority of creating a safe environment for all.
We kindly ask supporters to please remain patient and be co-operative with our staff, and we thank you for your understanding.
Bags larger than A5 will only be permitted at the discretion of St.Helens R.F.C. staff if containing essentials for babies, or medical purposes and will be subject to being searched before entry. It is advised to provide Medical Exemption Certificates or proof of eligibility for a Medical Exemption Certificate.
O’Neills branded paper bags from the Saints Superstore will be permitted entry, however they too will be subject to bag checks from our stewarding staff.
Bag-Drop Facility
A Bag-Drop area will be set up on match days at the Totally Wicked Stadium for any bags that would not be permitted entry. This will be located in the South East corner of the stadium and will be open from two hours before kick-off and will close one hour after full time.
Please note our Bag-Drop facility will cost £3 per bag, and as a cashless venue only debit or credit cards will be accepted. St.Helens R.F.C. accepts no responsibility for loss or damage of items which are left at the owners’ risk, with all bags subject to a search.
FOOD & DRINK
The Totally Wicked Stadium has a number of kiosks located around the concourse, each named after a legendary Saints player or phrase!
These are situated in each stand and serve a variety of hot and cold food, chocolate, crisps, snacks as well as a range of soft drinks and alcoholic beverages.

SUPPORTER SAFETY
St.Helens R.F.C. want to ensure that everyone who comes to enjoy game days at the Totally Wicked Stadium can do so in a safe and friendly environment! The Club would like to reiterate to supporters that it operates a zero-tolerance approach to any anti-social behaviour.
Misbehaviours that will not be tolerated include, but are not limited to; physical or verbal abuse, violent conduct, missile throwing, excessive alcohol misuse, and any drug misuse.
Furthermore, the use of pyrotechnics is strictly prohibited under both rugby and football ground regulations. They can cause serious injuries to those who carry them as well as fellow spectators, as well as damage to surfaces such as the playing pitch which can cost clubs thousands of pounds.
St.Helens would also like to encourage parents/guardians of children coming to the ground to ensure they are always aware of what their child is doing and where in the stadium they are at all times.
WHO WILL BE THE MATCH OFFICIALS?
Jack Smith will referee the First Team game on Friday night at the Totally Wicked Stadium. Warren Turley and Mark Craven will be on Touch Judge duty, with Liam Moore as the Video Referee.
Brandon Worsley will referee the Women’s Derby earlier on, with Rebecca Floyd and Liam Breheny the Touch Judges. James Vella will be the Video Referee.
