Prop forward Alfie has come through the Saints’ youth ranks after joining our Scholarship programme at the age of fourteen from community side Ryland Sharks.

Progressing through our Academy and shining in our Reserves ranks too, Sinclair started at prop in the Saints’ Reserves Grand Final victory in September 2024, and for all his strong efforts in the season, he was handed our 2024 Reserves Player of the Year accolade at the End of Season Awards Night.

Alfie made his professional debut whilst on loan for North Wales Crusaders in August 2024, playing his part in a win over Workington.

A reward for his hard work and attitude in training opportunities with the First Team, Alfie was called up into the First Team full-time environment for the 2025 season and given his first official squad number – #33.

Alfie made his official St.Helens debut on Saturday, 8th February in an away Challenge Cup fixture against West Hull, becoming the 1,295th man to play for our club.
